Abstract
This research was conducted in the City of Perawang. In connection with this research, the object is the shoe and sandal shop business in Tualang District, Siak Regency. As for the problem in this study is whether the accounting application carried out by the shoe and sandal shop business is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. The purpose of carrying out this research is to suit the accounting carried out by the shoe and sandal shop business in the city of Perawang with the basic concepts of accounting. The data collected are primary and secondary data. The data collection methods are interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis used descriptive method. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the shoe and sandal shop business in Perawang City is not in accordance with the basic concept of accounting.
