Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of individual characteristics and work environment on employee performance. The population in this study were employees at PT. Manunggal Inti Artamas as many as 82 employees. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling method, namely sampling is done based on certain criteria, namely only employees in the Operations Department only. The number of employees in the Operations Department alone is 41 people. Data analysis using multiple linear regression method. Based on the partial test, the results show that individual characteristics and work environment have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Manunggal Inti Artamas. Based on the simultaneous test, the result shows that individual characteristics and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Manunggal Inti Artamas. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.810 or 81%, which means that individual characteristics and work environment affect the performance of employees at PT. Manunggal Inti Artamas was 81% while the remaining 19% was influenced by other factors not observed in the study.
