Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction between Bokashi Leaves Ketapang and NPK 16:16:16 on the growth of Jabon Putih seedlings. This research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kharuddi Nasution, No. 113, Km 11, Keluran Air Cold, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The research was carried out for 3 months from March to May 2021. The design used was the Design Completely Randomized (CRD) 2 factorial consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was Bokashi Leaves Ketapang consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely 0, 37.5, 75 and 112.5 g/plant. The second factor was NPK 16:16:16 consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 1.5, 3 and 4.5 g/plant, so there were 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications and 48 experimental units were obtained. Each unit consisted of 6 plants and 2 sample plants. Parameters observed were plant height, net assimilation rate (LAB), relative growth rate (LPR), stem diameter, number of leaves, root volume and plant dry weight. Observational data were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance (ANOVA). If the calculated F is greater than the table F, then the BNJ further test is continued at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of Bokashi Leaf Ketapang and NPK 16:16:16 had a significant effect on all parameters. The best treatment was Bokashi Leaf Ketapang 112.5 g/plant and NPK 16:16:16 4.5 g/plant (B3N3). The main effect of Bokashi Leaves Ketapang was significant on all parameters with the best treatment being 112.5 g/plant (B3). The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 was significant on all parameters with the best treatment of 4.5 g/plant (N3).
