Abstract

This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University from March to April 2021. The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction and main effect of biosugih fertilizer and NPK 16:16:16 on the growth and yield of caisim mustard. The study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 2 factors, the first factor was biosugih fertilizer (S) consisting of 4 levels, namely, 0 ml/liter of water, 2 ml/liter of water, 4 ml/liter of water and 6 ml/liter of water. liters of water. The second factor was NPK 16:16:16 (N) fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely 0 g/plot, 4 g/plot, 8 g/plot and 12 g/plot. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), economic weight (g), dry weight (g) and root volume (cm3). the results of the observations of each treatment were statistically analyzed and continued with the further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of biosugih fertilizer and NPK 16:16:16 was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment for biosugih fertilizer was 6 ml/liter of water and NPK 16:16:16 at a dose of 12 g/plot (S3N3). The main effect of biosugih fertilizer was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment for biosugih fertilizer is 6 ml/liter (S3). The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 was significant on all observation parameters. NPK 16:16:16 dose 12 g/plot (N3).
