Abstract

This research was conducted in the form of an opinion to find out what the pattern of social rehabilitation of convicts of drug abuse in Narcotics Prison Class IIB Rumbai is. In this study, the author uses a qualitative research approach, namely descriptive research. The most practical way to do this is to conduct a detailed interview. The implementation of social rehabilitation at the Narcotics Correctional Institution Class IIB Rumbai is guided by the Law of the Minister of Justice Number: M.02-.PK.04.10 of 1990 concerning the Instruction Pattern for Prisoners/Detainees and the Law of the Minister of Justice for Convicts/Detainees on the teaching template. The social rehabilitation program for the Class IIB Rumbai Drug Prison has a pattern that is carried out at all stages of prisoners being treated in prisons. The pattern below. The social rehabilitation program of Class IIB Rumbai Drug Prison is as follows: Self-development, independence and capacity building. The government must provide assistance to meet the needs of the implementation of social rehabilitation programs including facilities/infrastructure for coaches.
