Abstract
Pricing agreements are agreements between business actors to raise or set prices, in order to limit competition between business actors and to achieve higher profits. This price fixing agreement is then entered into by the Photocopy Printing Business Actors incorporated in the Marpoyan Photocopy Printing Association (P3M) which causes the price of photocopy printing to rise and there is no longer a price variance between one business actor with another business actor and one of the rights is not fulfilled. consumer. On the other hand Law No. 8/1999 is an Act that protects the rights of consumers so that consumers are not harmed by the actions of business actors. The purpose of this research is to find out the price fixing agreement made by the Marpoyan photocopy shop business operators who are members of the Marpoyan Photocopy Printing Association (P3M). The Price of a Marpoyan Photocopy Printing Union (P3M) Judging from Law Number 8 of 1999 Concerning Consumer Protection. This research uses the method of observational research that is research carried out directly to the area of research object, in order to obtain data related to the Pricing Agreement by the Marpoyan Photocopy Printing Union (P3M). The nature of the research used is analytical descriptive. Primary data in this study were obtained from interviews and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the price fixing agreement made by the Marpoyan Photocopy Printing Association (P3M) aims to eliminate price competition between one business actor and another business actor. Based on consumer answers regarding the price fixing agreement, the consumer feels disadvantaged and influences the rights of consumers, namely in choosing goods and / or services in accordance with the exchange rate provided does not actually occur in the field. Judging from Law Number 8 of 1999 Concerning Consumer Protection, the price fixing agreement results in the non-fulfillment of the rights of consumers in the form of the right to choose goods and / or services in accordance with the exchange rate and conditions and guarantees promised then the price paid by consumers is higher compared to prices on competitive business actors.
