Abstract

This study aims to see the relationship between positive thinking and anxiety facing COVID-19. The research population is factory workers of PT. Rubber Wood Industries Indo. The research subjects consisted of 184 respondents. The sampling technique is simple random sampling so that everyone has the same opportunity to be the research subject. This study uses correlational quantitative methods using two research scales, namely the anxiety scale with a reliability alpha of 0.927 and a positive thinking scale with a reliability alpha of 0.863. This study uses descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that there was a negative and significant relationship between positive thinking and anxiety facing covid-19 and the correlation coefficient was strong, namely -0.539. The higher the positive thinking, the lower the anxiety facing COVID-19, and vice versa. Keywords: positive thinking, anxiety facing covid-19
