Abstract
He drainage system is an important component in urban areas. Drainage systems are built to discharge water from both hydrological cycles and wastewater from household and civic activities. Well-built drainage systems can prevent flooding or standing water that can interfere with the activities of people around them and can also prevent damage to the bodies of roads. The aim of the study was to identify water discharge that can flow through drainage lines in order to overcome the flood in the drainage lines, in turn knowing the underlying factors for the flood in the area to be studied. The method used to analyze this study is study of literature that used to get direction and insight so as to facilitate data collection, the study of literature is drawn from several of the supporting books associated with this planning so that it is hoped that a literature study could facilitate the course of planning, such asa location of planning, data collection, analysis and report compiling. The result of existing drainage capacity, was obtained exhaust exhaust (qs) = 0.9 m3/ second and discharge flow plan (qr) = 0.0222 m3/ second for the channel right and for the channel on the left as much (qr) = 0.02034 m3/ second that could accommodate rain discharge and household discharge discharge. The causes of the water in Sriwangsa Maharaja where the region has a drainage system that directly leads to the nearby Pinang Sebatang river, but during the rainy season the region falls into a pool of water that causes much garbage and mud because of the blockage of the flow of water in the drainage canals and the differences in the terrain.
