Abstract

Field “X” is one of the fields that produces gas, the type of gas produced is dry gas, then the bottom well flow pressure is calculated to calculate the gas production rate of the well. the reservoir drops below the dew point. Condensate gas is a gas reservoir that has the most complex flow and complex thermodynamic behavior. This gas reservoir is characterized by producing gases and liquids to the surface. When producing condensate gas, you must also pay attention to the flow pressure in the tubing, if the pressure decreases, this gas will not be produced to the surface because the condensate blocks the pores of the rock so that the gas cannot be reproduced. When producing to the surface Determining the maximum flow rate of liquid, gas and two phases so that erosion and corrosion of the pipelines do not occur. This study calculates the bottom well flow pressure using the Cullender Smith method. This research also determines the choice of pipe size to be used because if there is a problem in the production pipe it will inhibit gas production activities so that the production target is achieved optimally and does not cause erosion and corrosion of the pipe. The value obtained for the bottom well flow pressure is 1960 psi using a modified cullender smith equation. This is because there are 3 factors that affect it, namely specific gravity, friction factor and total gas flow rate. The size of the pipe is based on the maximum flow rate of erosion, this x well produces very small fluids such as water and condensate so that the occurrence of corrosion is minimum. The pipe size used which is suitable for liquid phase pipes is 0.67 inches, gas phase pipe sizes are 0.65, and two-phase pipe sizes are 0.65-0.56 inches.
