Abstract
The Neighborhood concept is a concept of a residential area with supporting facilities, including health and educational facilities. Neighborhood concept is applied in reaching the distance from the population to health facilities and educational facilities. The population density of Lima Puluh sub-district is 10,757
people / km². With a high population, it is necessary to ensure that the social facilities in Limapuluh District can serve the needs of the population, starting from the number of facilities, the capacity of the facilities, and the distance the facilities reach to the residence of the population must be easily accessible. The purpose of this study was to determine the range of health facilities and educational facilities in Limapuluh District, Pekanbaru City.
The research method used is mix methods. To determine the distribution pattern of health facilities and educational facilities using the nearest neighbor analysis technique, population projection analysis is also needed to determine the population in 2030, and to determine the range and area of services using GIS spatial analysis techniques.
Based on the results of the analysis of the distribution pattern of health facilities and educational facilities, there are 2 distribution patterns, namely random and clustered patterns, random patterns are found in the distribution of puskesmas/pustu, junior high school, and senior high school, while the grouped pattern is in
the distribution of primary school. The results of calculating the fulfillment of needs in 2030 require an additional 2 (two) primary school schools and 4 (four) senior high school schools, while the Public health center and auxiliary health center and junior high school only need maintenance. The results of the calculation of the distance and area of the health center and auxiliary health center services are very close 19.1 percent, and far 10.6 percent, then primary school is very close 57.7 percent, and far 3.7 percent, junior high school is very close 27.7
percent, near 43.1 percent, and far 3.7 percent, senior high school distance is very close 15.3 percent, and far 8.4 percent.
