Abstract
Study of the Influence of Industrial Estates on Social and Economic Conditionsand Infrastructure in Lubuk Gaung Village Sungai Sembilan District, Dumai City By: Rama Defriza NPM: 153410016 ABSTRACT Lubuk Gaung Village is one of the areas that has the most industry in Sungai Sembilan District, Lubuk Gaung Village has undergone many changes, indirectly industrial development, with the development of industrial activities in Lubuk Gaung Village has an influence on regional development, namely education, income, and Road infrastructure, clean water, equal distribution of electricity in the area around the Lubuk Gaung Industry which is engaged in CPO oil as well as its negative impacts such as the lifestyle of the community on the existence of the industry causing air pollution from factory waste. The importance of knowing these impacts can provide input for regional structuring where the presence of the industry anticipates negative things for future regional development. This study aims to analyze the effect of industrial estates in Lubuk Gaung Village, Sungai Sembilan District, Dumai City by using a quantitative descriptive analysis method using a questionnaire with a Likert scale calculation and to determine the characteristics of the industrial area, as well as to determine the social, economic, and infrastructure conditions in Lubuk Gaung Village. quantitative descriptive analysis method with Likert scale calculation, as well as analyzing the study of the influence of industrial estates on social, economic and infrastructure conditions using simple linear regression analysis, with partial test (T). This study uses primary data in the form of field observations, interviews and questionnaires and secondary data in the form of related documents. The results showed that the data generated in this study is processed data from the SPSS program from the results of the t test (partial) indicating that the significance value of the influence of industrial estates (X) on social, economic, and infrastructure conditions (Y) is 0.000 < 0, 05, and the t-count value is 19.029 > the t-table value is 1.967, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant influence of industrial estates on social, economic and infrastructure conditions
