Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the implementation of Wali Nagari obligations in Kenagarian Tepi Selo, North Lintau Buo District, Tanah Datar District and to find out the obstacles that affect their implementation. The theory used is the Policy Evaluation Theory according to Nurcholis. The type of research used is quantitative. The research location is located in Kenagarian Tepi Selo, Lintau Buo Utara District, Tanah Datar District. Data obtained from questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and literature studies, then all data collected then the data are grouped according to the type and source of data, the results are presented in the form of quantitative analysis tables. The respondents in this study included Wali Nagari, Secretary of Nagari. Head of development, Head of government, General head, Head of jorong, Chair of KAN, BPRN and KK of Tepi Selo community. The analysis technique of this study the researchers assessed and concluded that the Evaluation of the Implementation of the Obligation of Wali Nagari in Kenagarian Tepi Selo, Lintau Buo Utara Subdistrict, Lintau Buo Utara Subdistrict was in quite good category. While the factors causing the non-compliance of Wali Nagari obligations in Kenagarian Tepi Selo, Lintau Buo Utara District, Tanah Datar District are due to inadequate facilities and lack of community participation.
