Abstract
Development of Guided Invention-Based Mathematics Learning Tools in Grade 7 State Junior High School 10 Mandau Uswhatul Hasanah NPM: 146411080 Essay. Mathematics Education Study Program. Faculty of Teaching and Learning Riau Islamic University Main Supervisor: Dr. Hj. Zetriuslita, S.Pd., M.Si Co-Supervisor: Agus Dahlia, M.Si ABSTRACT Research on developing this device aims to develop and produce valid and practical mathematics learning tools. The learning tool developed is a Learning Implementation Plan and Student Worksheets with the Guided Discovery learning method. The development of this learning tool uses a modified R & D model so that it becomes several stages, namely, (1) potentials and problems; (2) data collection; (3) product design; (4) design validation; (5) design revision; (6) test usage; (7) product revision; (8) the final product. The validators of this learning tool consist of two FKIP UIR mathematics lecturers and one mathematics teacher. The trial was carried out in class VII1 SMP Negeri 10 Mandau, the research instrument was a validation sheet RPP, validation sheet LKPD, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and learning implementation questionnaires. The results of the study were obtained with the validity level of the RPP of 85.78% with the very valid category, and the results of the validation of the LKPD of 85.32% with the very valid category. A review of the practicality of the lesson plan was 85.71% with very practical criteria obtained from teacher response questionnaires. While the practical results of the LKPD of 84.17% were obtained from student response questionnaires with very practical criteria, and the average result of the implementation of learning was 86.72% with very practical criteria. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that this development research produced a guided discovery based mathematics learning tool on the material of parallelogram and rhombus in class VII1 of SMP Negeri 10 Mandau which has been tested for its validity and practicality.
