Abstract
Fuel motor is a device that functions to convert heat energy from fuel into mechanical energy. The CDI ignition system is an electronic ignition system that works by utilizing the charge and discharge of the capacitor charge. Variations of CDI have an influence on engine torque on motorcycle engines. At 5000 rpm the motor using standard CDI produces 7.41 Nm of torque, 7.54 Nm of CDI and dsk, CDI gomax the torque is 7.82 Nm and the resulting torque is 7.91 Nm for CDI. The standard CDI of the power generated is 3.87 hp, the CDI dsk is 3.95 hp, the CDI gomax the power is 4.10 hp and the CDI brt the power is 4.17 hp. The use of the standard Cdi type has a fuel consumption of 0.86 (kg/hour), the Dsk Cdi type has a fuel consumption of 0.90 (kg/hour) and the Gomax Cdi has a fuel consumption of 0.92 kg/hour And the Cdi brt has a fuel consumption of 0.82 kg/hour. Of the four CDIs tested, the CDI brt has the best performance value on a Yamaha vega zr motorcycle engine.
