Abstract

In the research area in Teratak Village, Rumbio Jaya District, Kampar Regency, Riau, there are deposits that are quite strong from the results of drill log data which allow for the presence of sand deposits as potential aquifers, this is expected to help residents in providing additional water sources to support life. in the research area. The aim is to determine the value of rock restivity, to determine the relationship between drill logs and the distribution of resistivity to find out how the subsurface geological conditions are expected to determine the potential of aquifers in the study area. The resistivity method is a method that aims to study the horizontal variation of the resistivity of the subsurface layer. Then the research was carried out using the Wenner configuration geoelectric method, the results of which would be inverted to Res2dinv Software. Drill logs as validation data and the correlation of the inversion data results. From the results of the analysis and interpretation of the data that has been carried out, there are 3 constituent layers that dominate the research area, in the form of clay layers with a resistivity value range of 0.091 – 2.84 ohm.m, a silt layer with a resistivity value ranging from 2.84-18.2 ohm.m, layers sand with resistivity values ranging from 11.7.5 to 968 and a layer of sand that has been filled with water with resistivity values ranging from 0.00986 to 0.689 ohm.m. which is suspected to contain groundwater with a thickness of 4.3 – 28.8 meters below the surface.
