Abstract

Each individual has self control (self control) that is able to control or regulate individuals in their behavior. Then, if spiritual intelligence and self-control are owned by individuals, it will produce individuals who are able to behave in accordance with existing values and produce meaningful behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between spiritual intelligence and self-control in students at the Islamic University of Riau. The sampling technique in this study was using the Sample Random sampling technique. While the statistical analysis used in this study is the product moment correlation, through the help of the SPSS data processing program version 23.0 for windows. These statistical results have shown that there is a significant relationship between spiritual intelligence and self-control of Riau Islamic University students R = 0.754, (p) 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a significant correlation between the relationship between spiritual intelligence. on self-control in riau Islamic students It can be interpreted that the higher a person's spiritual intelligence, the higher one's self-control.
