Abstract
This research was conducted in the Bukit Kapur District of Dumai City which aims to determine the factors that influence people's demand for broiler chickens in the Bukit Kapur District of Dumai City. In this study the authors used descriptive and quantitative analysis with multiple linear regression methods, and data processing used using the EVIEWS 9 program. The main data sources used were broiler chicken prices, community income, total dependents and total demand for broiler chicken meat can be from the questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that the R2 value is 0.515. This means that 51% of Prices, Community Revenues and Amount of Dependents represent to explain the amount of Broiler Chicken Demand. While the remaining 49% is explained by other variables outside the model. Furthermore, seen from the T test (Partial) it can be seen that Price (X1) has a significant and negative effect on the amount of Broiler Chicken Meat Demand in Bukit Kapur District, Dumai City, Community Income (X2) has a significant and positive effect on the amount of Broiler Chicken Meat Demand in the Hill District Dumai City Chalk, and Dependent Amount (X3) have a significant and positive effect on the amount of Broiler Chicken Meat Demand in the Kapur Hill District of Dumai City. Whereas based on the F (Simultaneous) Price Test, Community Revenue and Amount of Dependent simultaneously influence the amount of Broiler Chicken Demand in Dumai Bukit Kapur District
