Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim to determine the Kuok citrus plant morphology, to determine the level of soil fertility in Kuok orange land and to determine the correlation between Kuok citrus plant morphology and soil fertility in Bangkinang Barat District, Kampar District. Research has been carried out in West Bangkinang District, Kampar District, Riau. The research activity was carried out for 3 months, starting from August 2018 to October 2018. The activities carried out included the identification of Kuok orange plant morphology and soil fertility levels with soil testing using Purposive Sampling research methods. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the Kuok citrus plant morphology in location A (Pulau Jambu Village) and C (Kuok Village) have a normal morphological characteristics of the average according to the 1990 IPGRI, while at location B (Desa Silam) have a mean the morphological characteristics are smaller according to the 1990 IPGRI. At location A (Pulau Jambu Village) and C (Kuok Village) have a good (fertile) soil fertility according to the 2011 Soil Research Center, while at location B (Silam Village) has a level poor soil fertility according to the 2011 Soil Research Center. All parameters show positive and negative correlations. Positive correlation because if there is an increase in the content of pH, N, P, and K then the morphology of the plant increases in size. Negatively correlated because if there is an increase in the content of pH, N, P, and K there is no additional size in the plant morphology. Parameters with a correlation value of 0-25%, the correlation is very weak, 25-50% correlation is sufficient, 50-75% correlation is strong, 75-99% correlation is very strong and 100% perfect correlation.
