Abstract

Foundation is the one of important thing in a building structure, there for a foundation must be plan by considering a soil and loads that will work on it. The foundation that reviewed in this research is a foundation has maximum axial pile load. This study is aimed to determine the comparison bearing capacity of single pile to calculate maximum load, and to piles settlements. The method used in this study is static method and 2D finite element method, to calculation the bearing capacity of single pile on AS 6-C fondation used two static method which is meyerhof 1976 method, Briaud 1985, and for 2D finite element method used aksisimetri method, to calculate a single pile foundation reduction that happened in AS 6-C foundation calculate by poulus and davis reduction methode and 2D finite element method used is aksisimetri methode. The result of the study analysis, bearing capacity which approach the PDA test results on 6-C point is Briaud 1985 with score bearing capacity of pile like 1891.35 kN and safe factor obtained 1,56. whereas in the Meyerhof 1976 method, the carrying capacity was greater and the settlements was smaller. An approach settlement the PDA Test reduction is 2D finite element method is 20,08 mm. whereas the decrease using the Poulus and Davis method is 2 mm and all the calculation of the reduction is smaller than the decrease in the permit of 50 mm.
