Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of work-family conflict and social support with job satisfaction among female teachers. The study population was female teachers in Pekanbaru who were placed in private schools with a sample of 157 people. This sampling technique uses quota sampling technique. While the statistical analysis used in this study is Pearson correlation statistical analysis and multiple regression, through the help of SPSS data processing program version 25.0 for Windows. These statistical results have shown that: there is a significant relationship between work-family conflict and social support with job satisfaction (F = 20.899 p ≤ 0.05). The value of the contribution given is R2 = 0.213 or the same as 21.3 percent. This shows that the relationship between work-family conflict and social support with job satisfaction among female teachers is influenced by other factors by 78.7 percent. This means that the relationship between work-family conflict and social support is significantly related to job satisfaction among female teachers who work in private schools in Pekanbaru.
