Abstract

This research is based on how the Bengkalis Regency Social Service Evaluation in the Development of Street Children (Case Study of the District of Mandau) is based on the implementation of social guidance, rehabilitation and social services and protection of social problems that aim to determine the performance of the Bengkalis Regency Social Service in suppressing the number of street children in Bengkalis Regency, especially Mandau District. Explain the obstacles faced by Bengkalis Regency Social Service in suppressing the number of street children in Bengkalis Regency, specifically Mandau District. The inhibiting factors are as follows where it is still not quite the exact form of training programs provided so far. There are still many street children who do not attend training aimed at making them able to compete in the world of work. Street children who are always on the move are also obstacles for UPTD Social in supervising them. Implementation of the program should be more focused on producing street children who have their own businesses. And another factor is that supervision after being given a training program should be increased and assisted for street children to create independent businesses.
