Abstract

The Effect of Training and Work Experience on Employee Productivity at PT. Sumatera Makmur Lestari (SML) in Sei Pejangki Village, Seberida District By: Muhammad Reza This study aims to determine and analyze whether training and work experience affect employee work productivity at PT. Sumatera Makmur Lestari (SML) in Sei Pejangki Village, Seberida District. The population in this study were 40 employees and the entire population was sampled for this study using the census method. To analyze whether the independent variables, namely training (X1) and work experience (X2), affect the dependent variable, namely employee productivity (Y), the authors use multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that training and work experience had a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity at PT. Sumatera Makmur Lestari (SML). The regression coefficient for job training affecting work productivity is 26.3%, and the regression coefficient for work experience affecting work productivity is 37.2%. So among the independent variables studied, it shows that the work experience variable has a more dominant influence on employee work productivity at PT. Sumatera Makmur Lestari (SML) in Sei Pejangki Village, Seberida District.
