Abstract
Making holes in the casing and cement occurs between the formation with wells that replace the formation fluid can flow into the well. The overall perforation method is carried out on case hole wells and less compact formations. The advantage of using the perforation method is that it can regulate water or gas production. Needed in order to increase the amount of potential that can be obtained from the reservoir to the surface. Not all perforation methods are applied successfully. Because there is a cause of error when choosing the type of gun or cost based on the well, make a formation that has been done perforating to repair the dry hole. The type of gun that will be used in field X is the form of charge / jetting. The form of costs consists of several types of costs, namely Far Penetration and Good Hole Penetration. In the application of perforation, there are several methods used, in which its use considers reservoir characteristics and reservoir pressure to obtain optimal perforation results. Namely the method of overbalance perforation (pressure at perforation> reservoir pressure at the well) and underbalance perforation (pressure at perforation <reservoir pressure at the well). From the research results obtained using the penetration of the cost there are 3 wells with a penetration depth of about 11.19 ft and 1 well with a penetration value of about 11.16 ft depth. Whereas by using a good hole load, there are 2 wells with a penetration depth of around 4, 27 ft and 2 wells with a penetration depth of around 4.24 ft. From the results of determining the depth of penetration through API RP19B has conducted research on the surface for the cost of using deep penetration obtained at 2.3 ft. As for costs that use a good hole penetration obtained at 2.12 ft.
