Abstract

ABSTRACT Sintia Pratama Sari. 2019. Analysis of Factors Causing Learning Difficulties Students in Economics XI At Kuantan Hilir 1 High School This study aims to determine the factors causing learning difficulties students in economics class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Hilir. Researchers use Primary and Secondary Data in the form of written documents and direct interviews with social studies students of class XI who are experiencing difficulties study. This research was conducted on the 13th of August 2019. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed at analyze the results of this study. The research was conducted by interviewing the student teacher aims to be able to know the students who are experiencing learning difficulties in economics class XI, then interview These students are about the causes of economic learning difficulties in internal factors and externally, in addition to interviews, this research was strengthened by disseminating questionnaire data. Based on the results of research that has been done that factors causes of student learning difficulties in Economics in State High School 1 Kuantan Hilir can be grouped into internal and external factors. Factor internal causes of learning difficulties for students on economic subjects namely low motivation to learn, intelligence, and student interest in the eye economic lessons. Low student motivation is evident from lack of learning students truly in learning, and do not feel loss if not follow the learning. The same thing is also due to students' interests less menyennangi economic subject matter, so that less attention the teacher during the learning process. Student learning difficulties are also caused by student intelligence is still low, especially in completing assignments with timely and difficult students when instructed to work on the problems in front of the class. While the external factors are community factors less supportive of the influence of the social environment in a society that affect student learning time at home.
