Abstract
The purpose this research is to compare of cognitive biological learning outcomes that apply Numbered Heads Together (NHT ) learning model and the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS ) learning model that is applied in grade XI IPA students of SMAN 1 Benai in the academic year 2018/2019, on the material of in the Excretion System in Humans. Sampling was done based on homogeneity test of pre-test value. Two homogeneous classes were then chosen by drawing to determine which class will apply experimental 1 (X1 )or experiment 2 (X2 ), then selected class XI IPA1 as experiment class 1 will apply Numbered Heads Together (NHT ) learning model and class XI IPA2 as an experimental class 2 will apply the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS ) learning model. The result of descriptive data analysis obtained average learning result of Post-Test of student, experiment class 1 = 78,00 and experiment class 2 = 73,88. Analysis of uji-T data is known that Thitung (2,16 )> Ttabel (2,00 )with dk= 66 and standard = 0.05, then H0 is rejected accepted and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is difference in learning outcomes between classes applying the Numbered Heads Together (NHT ) learning model and the classes that apply the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS ) learning model in grade XI at SMAN 1 Benai in the academic year 2018/2019.
