Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the application of disciplinary sanctions to Civil Servants (PNS) in the sub-district office of Peranap Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency; and the factors that influence the discipline of Civil Servants (PNS) at the Peranap Sub-District Office in Indragiri Hulu Regency. Formulation of the problem in the implementation of this research is How to apply disciplinary sanctions to Civil Servants (PNS) at the sub-district office of Peranap Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency? and What are the Factors that influence the discipline of Civil Servants (PNS) in the sub-district office of Peranap Subdistrict Indragiri Hulu Regency? Viewed from the type, this study is classified into the type of observational research by survey and seen and the angle is descriptive. Data collection tools in this study were interviews and questionnaires. The data source consists of primary data and secondary data. As a population and respondents are all employees who work at the Peranap subdistrict office, amounting to 13 employees who are civil servants, consisting of sub-district heads, secretary of sub-district head, general head of sub-division, head of program and finance sub-division, head of public services, development office Public Order, Head of Government, and Kasi Community Empowerment each 1 (one) person; and executive staff of 4 (four) people. Data analysis is done qualitatively and quantitatively, and conclusions are drawn inductively. The results of this study conclude that the application of disciplinary sanctions to Civil Servants at the sub-district office of Peranap Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency, as a whole has gone well. This is because the application of the discipline of Civil Servants in the agency has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation Number 53 of 2010 concerning Discipline of Civil Servants, through the mechanism of implementing disciplines which include summons, examinations, sentencing, and submission of disciplinary sentences. Besides that, the discipline of Civil Servants in these institutions has also been able to foster performance and motivate employee work discipline, and provide a deterrent effect on civil servants who violate disciplinary regulations. Factors that influence the discipline of Civil Servants at the District Office of Peranap Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency are factors of leadership, discipline supervision by the leadership, and firmness in imposing disciplinary penalties.
