Abstract
This research intend to find out the Analysis Of The Factors That Affect Interst In Becoming Student Of Biological Education At Riau Islamic University, Academic Year 2018/2019. This research was carried out in the odd semester of academicyear 2018/2019. This type of research is a qualitative study. The informan of this study were the two, four, and six semester students of Biology Education, Riau Islamic University with 273 informants, this sample was taken using saturated or cencus sampling. Data collection techniques in this study in the form of interview, observation, docuentation. In this study there are eleven indicators that that influence the interest in being a teacher, readiness, innate factors, personality factors (happy feelings), curiosity,attention,beliefs, social environment, family environment, courage, training, understanding obstacles and how to overcoe them. Obtained on readiness factors as big as 87,37% with a high category, innate factors as big as 80,33 % with a high category, personality factors (happy feelings) as big as 82,03% with a high category, curiosity as big as 84,57% with a high category, attention as big as 83,96% with a high category, beliefs as big as 85,30% with a high category, social environment as big as 83,11% with a high category, family environment as big as 83,65% with a high category, courage as big as 82,90% with a high category, training as big as 79,07% with a high category, understanding obstacles and how to overcoe them as big as79,48 % with a high categori. Of the elevent indicators, the most influential interest in being a teacher is the readiness factors by 87,37%, and the lowest is the exercise 69,34 % of the interest in becoming a student teacher of Biology Education, Riau Islamic University.
