Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of leg muscle power and eye-foot coordination to the accuracy of shooting soccer players at the SSB Bina Talent U-15 Players in Pekanbaru City. The type of this research is multiple correlation. The population in this study was the Ssb Bina Talent U-15 Players in Pekanbaru City, amounting to 21 people, the sampling technique used was total sampling so that the sample in this study amounted to 21 people. The research instrument used was a standing broadjump test, an eye-foot coordination test and a soccer shooting ability test. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test and calculates the contribution value. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) There is no contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the soccer shooting ability of the Pekanbaru City SSB Bina Talent U-15 Players by 10.61% with a value of rcount = 0.103 < rtable = 0.433, (2) There is no contribution of eye-foot coordination to the accuracy of soccer shooting for Ssb Bina Talent U-15 Players in Pekanbaru City by 58.56% with rcount = 0.242 < rtable = 0.433, (3) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power and eye-foot coordination on the soccer shooting ability of SSB Players for U-15 Talent Development in Pekanbaru City by 87.98% with a value of rcount = 0.938 > rtable = 0.433.
