Abstract

The purpose of this study was 1) to find out whether there was a contribution of agility to dribbling skills in soccer games of extracurricular students of Pekanbaru City Junior High School 10, 2) to find out whether there was a contribution to the speed of dribbling skills in extracurricular football games at Pekanbaru State Junior High School 10 3) to find out whether there is a contribution of agility and speed towards dribbling skills in the extracurricular football game of SMP Negeri 10 Kota Pekanbaru. Pupoluasi in this study were 20 extracurricular students of Pekanbaru City Middle School as many as 20 people. Sampling is a total sampling technique, which amounts to 20 people. The instruments used were agility tests, speed tests and dribbling tests. Data analysis using product moment correlation and to find the contribution of each variable using the coefficient of determination formula. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that 1) there is a contribution of agility to dribbling skills in football games of extracurricular students of Pekanbaru City Junior High 10 shifting 0.074%, 2) there is a contribution of agility to dribbling skills in soccer extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 10 students The city of Pekanbaru is 17.99%, 3) there is a contribution of agility and speed towards dribbling skills in extracurricular soccer games in SMP Negeri 10 Kota Pekanbaru where there is a contribution of 29.50%.
