Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance management of the 3rd Rimbang Baling Music Festival by Rumah Budaya Siku Keluang in Koto Lamo, Kampar Kiri Hulu, Kampar, Riau. According to George R. Terry (1960) in Jazuli (2014: 12-19) the basic functions of management as a dynamic process which include the following functions: 1) planning, 2) organizing, 3) actuating, 4) controlling. Then, in the implementation of tasks in the artistic field according to (Jazuli M 2014: 75- 87) Includes: 1) Artistic Director, 2) Music Arrangers, 3) Stage Managers, 4) Stage Managers, 5) Officers Setting, 6) Stage Equipment Officer, 7) Dressmaker, 8) Makeup Artist, 9) Lighting, 10) Master of Ceremonies. This study used a descriptive analysis study using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. This study uses data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. From the results of the research conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that all the management functions described have gone quite well, as well as the stages of artistic production management are running well. Researchers found that the purpose of the performance Rimbang Baling Music Festival,is Rumah Budaya Siku Keluang with the local people Kampar Kiri of Koto Lamo, aims to defend the wildlife reserve of Bukit Rimbang and Bukit Baling.
