Abstract

This research seeks to make people aware of the environment, because many people do not care about their surroundings. Therefore, the need for studies that discuss the environment such as ecological literature research. This is what makes this research interesting to do. The problem in the study is how ecological literary criticism is in the manuscripts of the drama Pasar Malam for Brojo by Dhianita Kusuma Pertiwi. The theory used is the ecological literary theory by Endraswara (2016), Wiyatmi (2017), Sikana (2005), et al, and other supporting theories. The data source in this study is a collection of manuscripts of Pasar Malam for Brojo by Dhianita Kusuma Pertiwi published by Pelangi Sastra in 2016. The approach used is a qualitative approach, with the type of library research and methods used in content analysis using hermeneutical techniques. Meticulous data are words, phrases, clauses, sentences and paragraphs contained in the manuscripts of the drama Night Market for Brojo by Dhianita Kusuma Pertiwi. The results of the data that have been classified and analyzed are 61 data containing ecological literary concepts, namely (1) Pollution totaling 9 data, (2) Wilderness with 1 data, (3) Disaster with no data, (4) Housing / residence numbering 42 data, (5) Animals totaling 1 data, and (6) Earth totaling 10 data. There are data on two ecological literary concepts in one quotation. Based on the data obtained by the author, the collection of the drama Night Market for Brojo by Dhianita Kusuma Pertiwi is an ecological element.
