Abstract

This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the implementation of online science learning/e-learning class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2020/2021. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. This research method uses survey research methods. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The sample in this study was 108 people, taken from class VIII students of MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru academic year 2020/2021. The questionnaire distributed consists of 40 statement items consisting of four aspects of assessment with ten indicators. Based on the results of the study, the aspect of student attitude assessment has a sufficient category with a percentage of 62.8%. The aspect of assessing the principles of online learning/e-learning has a sufficient category with a percentage of 62.31%. The competency assessment aspect related to online/e-learning has a sufficient category with a percentage of 68.8% and the infrastructure assessment aspect has a sufficient category with a percentage of 72%It can be concluded that students' perceptions of the implementation of online science learning / e-learning class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2020/2021 is in the sufficient category with an average percentage of 64.98%.
