Abstract

This study aims to improve the process and improve learning outcomes mathematics students of class VIII.3 of SMPN 35 Pekanbaru through the implementation of the Giving strategy Questions and Getting Answers (GQGA ) in cooperative learning. Research subject Consisting of class VIII.3 students of SMPN 35 Pekanbaru which were collected by 37 people consisting of from 20 male students and 17 female students. This research is a research Classroom Actions (PTK) ) which consists of 2 cycles. The instrument for collecting data consists of observation sheet and learning outcome sheets that have been analyzed. Data analysis technique used in this study consisted of descriptive data analysis with data analysis qualitative data and quantitative analysis. Based on the observation sheet at each The meeting showed an increase in the learning process starting at the meeting first in the first cycle until the last meeting in the second cycle. Based on learning outcomes students, improve learning can be seen from the number of students who reach KKM on basic score is 8 students (21.6% ), daily test I is 14 students (37.8% ) and replay Daily II, which is 18 students (48.6% ) Based on the average student learning outcomes on the basic score namely 47.5, daily repetition I is 58 and the daily test II is 68.4. Can get it was concluded that the implementation of the strategy of Giving Questions and Getting Answers (GQGA ) in the cooperative learning process improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII.3 students of SMPN 35 Pekanbaru.
