Abstract
An Analysis of Code Mixing Used In Nessie Judge YouTube Video. Final Project. English Language Education, Faculty of Teacher Training And Education, Universitas Islam Riau. Advisor : Prof. Seno Himala Putra, M. Pd. Key words: Nessie Judge, Code Mixing, YouTube Nowadays, code mixing is easily found in daily life. Moreover, that phenomenon is not only found in daily life but also in the media which developed, one of them is video. Video is one of many media which is popular among society. Especially, in this era, people are easier to see so many videos via YouTube. Mostly, the use of code mixing occurs in youngster utterance. Nessie Judge is one of the Indonesian youngster who like to used code mixing in her utterances on her YouTube video. This research used descriptive qualitative research data taken from one of Nessie Judge YouTube video in her YouTube Channel. The data was taken from 12 January 2021. The researcher collected the data through documentation. This final project is based on a study which attempt to found a type of code mixing acts by using some relevant theories from some linguistics expert than and to find out the reasons code mixing used. And the factor of using code mixing is acceptance because a lot of Nessie Judge Subscribers is Indonesian youngsters. Nessie is one of Indonesian youngsters. As we know Indonesian youngsters who like to mix Bahasa with English in there utterance.
