Abstract
The purpose of this research was toimprove student’s learning result at VIIF grade of SMPN 04 Tambang 2017/2018 with implementation of guided inquiry learning that was conducted from February 26, 2018 toApril 07, 2018at VIIF grade of SMPN04 Tambangwhich amounts 30 students it was consisted 13 male and 17 female. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR). Parameters measured are student learning result like absorption and students mastery learning that consist of individual mastery and classical. The data was analyzed by using descriptively to determine the absorption and students mastery learning for the value of knowledge understanding of the concept (Cognitive) and the value of scientific performance (Psychomotor). Absorption value of knowledge understanding of the concept students before CAR 67,56% increase in the first cycle to 78,08% with an increase of 10,52% and the second cycle had increased to 85,84% with an increase of 7,76%. Classical completeness value of knowledge understanding of the concept students before CAR 46,66% increase in the first cycle to 66,67% with an increase of 20,01% and the second cycle had increased to 96,67% with an increase of 30%. Absorption value of scientific performancestudents before CAR 73,5% increase in the first cycle to 76,67% with an increase of 3,17% and the second cycle had increased to 81,92% with an increase of 5,25%. Classical completeness value of scientific performance students before CAR 50% increase in the first cycle to 83,87% with an increase of 33,87% and the second cycle had increased to 96,67% with an increase of 12,8%. It can be concluded that the application of guided inquiry learning can improve stundent’s learning result at VIIF grade of SMPN 04 Tambang Academic Year 2017/2018.
