Abstract

Abuse is a crime that can be caused by various factors that affect it. This crime is quite a complex cause and does not stand alone. The cause can be influenced by supportive conditions, and the presence of victims who indirectly encourage the perpetrator to commit a crime. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the factors that cause the abuse committed by uncles against nephews, and to know what efforts can be made to prevent and overcome the crime of abuse. This research uses qualitative methods and type of case study research. The main theory in this study uses the theory of routine activity. This theory explains how crime occurs and is divided into three elements of action, such as appropriate targets, adequate safeguards and motivated perpetrators. From this problem researchers see there are several aspects as a form to minimize the occurrence of acts of abuse.
