Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of empowerment of micro small businesses by the Office of Cooperatives for Small and Medium Enterprises in Siak Regency 2016-2017. The Office of Cooperatives for Small and Medium Enterprises in Siak Regency in carrying out the development of empowerment of micro small businesses in Siak Regency is important because the empowerment of micro small businesses in Siak Regency is one of the problems so far it has not been handled properly. To analyze the problem the researcher uses Edy Suharto's theory in accordance with the problem using indicators of possibilities or facilitation, reinforcement, protection. This type of research, which is located in the Cooperative Service for Small and Medium Enterprises in Siak Regency, is a descriptive survey, which prioritizes a questionnaire list as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing the empirical conditions of objectivity and research objectives in research sites. There are two population groups and the sample in this study are employees, and micro small businesses. The micro-small business actors in this case are those as small-scale micro business production actors in Siak Regency. The sample size determined from these two population groups is 4 people for employees and 20 for micro and small businesses. Two sampling techniques used in determining individual samples are census techniques for employees and micro-small business operators. Types and data collection data used consisted of, primary data collected using questionnaire and interview techniques as well as secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is to use the fermentation table tool. Based on this analysis technique, the researchers assessed and concluded that the analysis of empowerment of micro-small businesses by the Office of Cooperatives for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Siak Regency in 2016-2017 is located at quite good assessment intervals.
