Abstract
Governance is an organization, institution and community to solve problems that occur and with good governance good governance will be created. However, there are still many things that happen in Governance in Indonesia that do not work as expected, there are still many government agencies that have not been able to establish cooperation with one another. The purpose of this study is to find out how good governance is in controlling street vendors in the green open space of Pekanbaru city. The theory used in this study is the theory of Governance. This study uses qualitative research methods, arguing that empirically the problems observed are more appropriate to use this method. The results of this study indicate that Government Governance has not been running well. This is due to the lack of supervision carried out by the Civil Service Police Unit and also the limited number of members of the Civil Service Police Satpol, the lack of communication carried out is seen from the absence of a definite schedule in controlling street vendors in the Green Open Space Shows Integrity Teaching in Pekanbaru City, and also caused by the lack of awareness of the street vendors who still violate the rules not to sell in the Pekanbaru City Open Green Open Space, because this area has been prohibited and is a green line that is not allowed to build or place merchandise. Therefore, it is recommended for the Civil Service Police Unit to discipline street vendors to improve public order in Pekanbaru City.
