Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the evaluation of the performance of the Social Service in Control of Prostitution in Pekanbaru City. The method used in this research is the qualitative method with descriptive analysis techniques, this writing describes the conditions of the objects found in the field based on data in the field related to the problems of the Social Service Performance Evaluation in Prostitution Control in Pekanbaru City by interview and observation. as a data collection tool, and the data collected is then presented as the main raw material for analyzing the empirical conditions and the objectivity of the existence and objectives of the research at the location under study, there are 4 groups that become the research object. The Pekanbaru City Social service has implemented a program to reduce the number of prostitution activities in Pekanbaru Ciy, The Pekanbaru City Social Service has immediately taken control to the place where prostitution is taking place with the Yustisi team, the Pekanbaru City Social Service has also programs such as distributing brochures, giving directions or lecturing prostitutes and also provides training and assistance in the form of money for former prostitutes and those who want to change looking for better jobs. The writing consists of the same primary data obtained through research tools in the form of interviews and observations and secondary data obtained from the results of interviews in accordance with the results of the research, the conclusion is that the Social Service Performance Evaluation in Prostitution Control in Pekanbaru City is categorized as Poor where in implementation There are several supporting facilities and infrastructure for controlling the Prostitution in Pekanbaru City which are deemed inadequate and the rehabilitation program and sanctions given so that many have been caught in raids and are coached back to their old jobs as prostitutes.
