Abstract

Pre-presumption is something assumed by speakers as an event before producing a speech. Pre-perception has a very important role in communicating activities, because it can cause interactions between one person and the other to run well or maybe vice versa. The problems in this study are: What are the types of presuppositions in the host dialogue and resource persons at the Mata Najwa talk show at the Trans7 Private Television Station with the theme of the Barisan Para Ex ?. The purpose of this study was to describe, analyze, and interpret the types of presuppositions in the host dialogue and speakers at the Mata Najwa talkshow at the Trans7 Private Television Station with the theme Barisan Para Mantan. This research is a follow-up study because there have been those who have examined it before. Based on the main research problem, the theory used in this study consisted of Eva Eri Dia (2012), Goorge Yule (2006), Ida Bagus Putrayasa (2014). The method used in this research is descriptive method. The population in this study was all the speeches between the emcee and the speakers in the Mata Najwa program. The sample is all dialogue talks at the Najwa Mata Talk Show at Trans7 Private Television Station with 708 speeches in 10 situations. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation techniques, referring techniques, and note-taking techniques. From the results of data processing, the following conclusions can be drawn: the results of this study conclude that presuppositions in the host's dialogue and speakers at the Mata Najwa talk show were 353 speeches from 10 situations and there were all six types of presuppositions, namely: (1) existential presuppositions 142 speeches , (2) the factual presumption of speech, (3) lexical presuppositions of 74 utterances, (4) non-factual presuppositions 1 speech, (5) structural presuppositions 42 utterances, (6) counterfactual presuppositions 2 utterances.
