Abstract

The Communication is something that cannot be separated from human life, because communication is a tool of interaction between individuals with each other. Communication is also accustomed to not being noticed by a communicator of things that are not noticed, communication cannot be easily received by communicants. From the background above, this study also has several objectives, namely how interpersonal communication between parents and adolescents involved in drugs and what are the supporting factors and inhibitors of parent and child interpersonal communications. this study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, in which this study states that research guided by the qualitative paradigm is defined as a research process for understanding human or social problems by creating a comprehensive picture and complexes presented with words, reporting detailed descriptions that obtained from information sources, and carried out in natural settings. And the results of this study that interpersonal communication between parents and children is done spontaneously and the time of communication goes after magrib. This research also found that the inhibiting factors and supporters of interpersonal communication are as follows: inhibiting factors, difficult to understand, children who are still selfish, personal interests that conflict with others, unclear messages and lack of approach between the two parties. While the supporting factors are: parents or family environment and education. After this research, the researcher can give some suggestions so that in the future it will be better, among others: parents should be able to master interpersonal communication so that the message delivered can be easily understood and there is no interference that affects it.
