Abstract
This study aims to determine and analyze the Licensing Services at the Investment Service and One Stop Services of Pelalawan Regency (Study of Middle Business Place Permit Management). The problems in this research are the cost of obtaining permits for medium-sized businesses where there are still people who take care of them are expensive, and the slow process of obtaining business permits is caused by employees who are often absent during working hours. Assessment indicators include service procedures, completion time, service costs, service products, facilities and infrastructure, and service officer competence. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive survey. The population and research sample amounted to 37 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews and observations. The data analysis technique uses the scoring technique with frequency table tools. The results of this study indicate that the Licensing Service at the Investment Service and One Stop Services of Pelalawan Regency is categorized as Good Enough. This is because the DPMPTSP office already has service procedures, but the services provided by DPMPTSP employees are not in accordance with procedures. Then the files received by the community were complete, but in writing the files there were often errors such as writing names, places, or writing numbers. And the supporting facilities in the DPMPTSP office are also quite good, even though the air conditioner in the waiting room is not cold enough, the seats are also uncomfortable, and the toilets are also not clean, and there is no prayer room available. The inhibiting factor is the slow process of obtaining permits for medium-sized businesses due to the fact that employees are often absent during working hours, which should have been completed in 5 working days, but have only been completed for 8 or 10 days, resulting in inefficient service time. Then there are people who take care of it is expensive, so that people feel disadvantaged and prejudice against the services provided by Pelalawan DPMPTSP employees.
