Abstract
Vllage-owned enterprises are village business intstitutions managed by the community and village goverment that aim to improve the village economy, one of which is in Kijang Rejo Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, where the village Owned Enterprise has been established since 2011. The purpose of this study was to determine the Role of Village-Owned Enterprises in Improving the Village Economy in Kijang Rejo Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. This type of research is a descriptive survey with quantitative methods, namely by explaning the actual conditions obtained in the study and the data obtained is used as a reference in analyzing each variabel indicator used in this study. Then the sampling technique used in this study is the census sampling technique and purposive sampling and the data collection tecniques used in the study are observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation, the nex type of data the writer uses is primary data and scondary data. In this study, the researchers used the linkert scale measurement technique with a total population of 605 people and a sample of 86 people, based on the results of measurements thet have been carried out on each research sub-variable, it can be stated that the role of Village-Owned Enterprises in Improving the Village Economy in Kijang Rejo Village. Imlemented under the Fairly Role category, it is proven by the result of research which states thet there are still some people who have not experienced an economic increase and there are some people who have expreenced an economic increase since the existence of Village-Owned Enterprises, also there is still no development established by Village-Owned Enterprises.
