Abstract

This study aims to identify, analyze and explain the Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at PT Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit II Dumai City. The indicators used are Communication, Resources, Disposition, Bureaucratic Structure. This type of research is a qualitative research method, a research method based on the philosophy of positivism. As for the population and samples, namely Unit Manager Comm, Rel, & CSR RU II Dumai City, Coordinator Staff of Comm, Rel, & CSR RU II Dumai City, Community. In this case the researcher collects data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The inhibiting factor is the lack of communication and coordination between the government and the company in terms of synergizing the programs that will be implemented for community empowerment, this results in obstacles in the smooth process of the programs planned by the company. The lack of response from the community to the CSR programs provided by the company has resulted in the programs created by the company being hampered and not being implemented effectively. The corporate social responsibility forum does not oversee the sustainability of programs implemented by the company. The company does not yet know that a corporate social responsibility forum already exists in Dumai City, as well as a corporate social responsibility forum that does not show itself to PT Pertamina RU II Dumai City that this corporate social responsibility forum has been formed.
