Abstract
This research is conducted by the writer in Kuantan Hilir Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Related to this research as an object is a clothing store entrepreneur. The problems discussed in this research are how the application of accounting in the Clothing Shop business in Kuantan Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, has fulfilled the basic concept of accounting in conducting its business. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of accounting carried out by entrepreneurs in clothing stores that have met the basic concepts of accounting in conducting their business. Data collection in this study is primary and secondary data. The technique used in this research is structured interviews, documentation and questionnaires. While the data analysis used is descriptive method. Based on the results of the discussion and research, the conclusion that can be drawn is the application of accounting carried out by the clothing shop business in Kuantan Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, which is not yet fully in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting.
