Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of accounting applied by the Laskar Pelangi Mandiri Foundation with generally accepted accounting principles. The documents collected are financial data, the technique of document collection in this study is through interviews and documentation, after all the data is collected then the data is analyzed using descriptive methods, so it can be found whether the Laskar Pelangi Mandiri Foundation applies accounting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Based on the results of research and analysis shows that in the accounting process the foundation does not prepare working papers, closing journals, after-closing account balances and still use equity and capital stock accounts and in preparing financial reports, the foundation only prepares financial statements and Balance Sheet and Income Statement, where The foundation does not prepare Cash Flow Statements and Notes to Financial Statements.
