Abstract

This thesis aims to find out how interpersonal communication is carried out by parents and children in instilling religious values towards sexual behavior premarital in the village of Pipagas Sorek Satu, Pangkalan Kuras Subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency and to find out what are the factors influence the interpersonal communication of parents with children in instilling religious values for premarital sex behavior in the village of Pipagas Sorek Satu. Interpersonal communication is the process of sending messages and receiving messages between two or more people, with several effects or instant feedback. This study uses a qualitative method. The informants in this study were eleven people and used purposive sampling. Data collection using interviews and documentation. data analysis using data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this study are interpersonal communication between parents and children in instilling religious values on premarital sexsual behaviorin Pipagas Sorek satuVillage, namely two-way massage flow, non-formal atmosphere, immediate feedback and communication parcipants are in close range. Parents also carry out their role in interpersonal communication with children, namely teaching children toworsip, teach religious views, and invite children. Forms of communication between parents and children are dialogue and sharing. The supporting factors, namely the self-concept of interpersonal attraction and interpersonal relation and interpersonal relations, the inhibiting factors are mechanicaland human obstacles.
