Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of students’ class VI emotional quotient at elementary school IT Bunayya Pekanbaru. It could be seen from, some students class VI at elementary school IT Bunayya Pekanbaru were late in go to school, some of them were fighting to others, some of students were littering, some of them were dirty. In reality, they would come on time, they had good relationship to others, and they keep clean for environment and saying good words. Research formulation in this research questioned about the influence of Al-Qur’an memorizing on students’ class VI emotional quotient at elementary school IT Bunayya Pekanbaru. The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of Al-Qur’an memorizing on students’ class VI emotional quotient at elementary school IT Bunayya Pekanbaru. This research used quantitative with correlational approach. The population and sample took students class VI elementary school IT Bunayya Pekanbaru in 87 students, data collection used questionnaire and documentation. The research findings showed that the hypothesis about the influence of Al-Qur’an memorizing on students’ class VI emotional quotient at elementary school IT Bunayya Pekanbaruwas accepted with significant score 0.000. the influence score was less than 0.356 or 35.6% and the data described the influence of AlQur’an memorizing on students’ class VI emotional quotient at elementary school IT Bunayya Pekanbaru.
