Abstract
This research was motivated about everything Islamic education teacher roles in creating and implementing moral guidance at junior high school 1 Tembilahan. Nowadays, it could be found the deviation of students’ moral either in school or other places such as unpolite to teachers, unpolite to parents and others deviations happened. This research used descriptive qualitative approach, data collection proceeded by doing some methods in documentation and interview. Interview in this research focused on an Islamic education teacher at junior high school 1 Tembilahan. The analysis in this research used data reduction analysis, data presentation and data verification. This research findings showed that Islamic education teacher had been active in guiding students’ moral at junior high school 1 Tembilahan. It could be seen from teacher’s methods where teacher created habitual activities such as praying and recited Al-Qur’an before starting the class, obey and followed parents and teacher’s rules, and played religious activities to train students’ mental and moral to be better.
