Abstract
This research was conducted at 22 clothing store businesses in Tualang District, Siak Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the clothing store business in Tualang District, Siak Regency is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. This study uses two types of data namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are done by interview, documentation and observation. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the clothing shop business in the District of Tualang, Siak Regency has not applied accounting in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting.
